Hello, I’m Erik!

I’m half Swedish half Spanish and Canarian-raised. I have been attending an international school (Canterbury School of Gran Canaria) since age 4.

As an international student who is passionate about learning and helping others, I am excited to start tutoring younger kids. I understand that every student has their own unique way of learning and I am committed to creating a fun and engaging environment where they can thrive.

Through my years of academic life, I have learned the value of hard work and dedication. I have developed what I believe to be great communication skills that allow me to explain complex concepts in a clear and understandable way. I am also patient and compassionate, and I understand that every student learns at their own pace.

I believe that my experience as a student gives me a unique perspective that can be helpful to kids who are at earlier stages in their academic journeys. I am familiar with the challenges they might face, and I know how to overcome them. I am also able to provide guidance on study habits, time management, and test-taking strategies that have helped me succeed.

Overall, I believe that I have the passion, dedication, and experience necessary to be an effective tutor. I am excited to share my knowledge and help them succeed in their academic endeavours.

Soy mitad sueco mitad español y criad en Canarias. He estudiado en un colegio internacional (el colegio Canterbury de Gran Canaria) desde los 4 años.

Como estudiante internacional al que le apasiona aprender y ayudar a otros, tengo muchas ganas de impartir clases. Entiendo que cada alumno tiene su propia manera de aprender y estoy comprometido con crear un ambiente divertido y personalizado donde cada uno pueda prosperar.

A lo largo de mis años en el colegio, he llegado a aprender lo que puede hacer el esfuerzo y la dedicación. He desarrollado una muy buena capacidad comunicativa que me permitirá explicar conceptos complejos con simplicidad. También soy capaz de encontrar maneras de motivar y devolverle las ganas de estudiar a los alumnos, ya que a mí también me ha costado mucho estudiar y rendir al nivel que estoy rindiendo ahora.

Creo con firmeza que mi experiencia como estudiante de colegio internacional me es muy útil a la hora de ayudar a estudiantes a distintos niveles académicos. Conozco de primera mano muchos problemas que se pueden encontrar y se como ayudarles a sobrepasarlos. También les puedo ayudar con regímenes de estudio, así como técnicas de examen que me han ayudado a prosperar.

En general, creo que tengo la pasión, la dedicación y la experiencia necesarias para ser un tutor eficaz. Estoy emocionado de compartir mi conocimiento y ayudarlos a tener éxito en sus esfuerzos académicos.

I can help my students understand complex concepts in a fun and engaging way. I can also provide emotional and motivational support if my student loses their will to study. I can also provide them with useful tips and tricks that I have picked up along my years of academic endeavors.

Puedo ayudar a mis estudiantes a entender conceptos complejos de una manera divertida y comprensible. Además, puedo proveerles de apoyo emocional y motivacional en caso de que pierdan las ganas de estudiar y de esforzarse. También puedo compartir trucos y técnicas para examenes que he descubierto a lo largo de mi carrera académica.
